The question today is “are we done
yet?” The answer to this question is that we have completed one-third of the
course. Today, we will talk about an internet website that is use for grammar. As
a person is looking to improve their grammar, a person can find many different grammar
sites a person could choose from, but I have found one that I have been using
to help me relearn basic grammar. The website that I am referring to is
“Grammar Bytes! Grammar Instruction with Attitude and the website is located at
http://www.chompchomp.com/menu.htm .

Grammar Bites has
been around since 1997 and is for both secondary school students as well as
college students. The website has interactive exercises for the student to work
on at their own leisure. Each exercise includes a handout that a person could
download and/or printed as a reference for the student. For those students who
have the ability to watch videos using a computer or portable device can access
the latest GrammarWood releases that are located on their own YouTube channel.
For those of you who would like to have a grade for the work you have done,
there is a Massive Open Online Course [MOOC] where new quizzes await the
student and a digital grade book that records your progress. Although, as I
have used this site for my grammar it has not helped me much and that is fine.
For my editing mistake of the week,
it comes from our textbook “When Words Collide” on the top of page 58. Two
sentences prior to the bolded sentence that starts with Wow and after the word
each are two “the”.
I love how you found the error in the textbook! That made me laugh. I always tend to skip over those repeat words, so they're important to catch. Additionally, I use Grammar Bytes as well. Thanks for sharing!
