It is important that the site is easy to navigate and visually appealing. It needs to appeal to the intended audience. The usability also needs to focus on who will be navigating. This can be determined early on when the page is being designed. When this is done in an organized manner then everything will flow correctly. If it doesn’t the page will lose visits and customers. Others will become impatient and leave the page prematurely. People want information fast and efficiently. The tip for this week is organization. Organization on the page is important because it will make the user happier. The faster they can find information that they need, the more they are likely to recommend the site to others. Organization is important because if the website is offering a service, their information should be easily accessible. When things are organized on the page it will also be visually appealing. The eyes will naturally flow through the page and find what they are looking for. I think that a great example of this is Amazon. Amazon.com is easy to navigate and has clear tabs. This makes it easy to search through.
